We do not take repeat prescription requests over the phone or email.
You can usually collect your prescription from the pharmacy 3 to 5 working days after you have ordered it.
You will need to choose a pharmacy to collect your prescription from. We call this nominating a pharmacy.

We do not prescribe sedatives for fear of flying or anxiety linked to dental, medical or other procedures.

Norethisterone
Unfortunately, our GPs have agreed that they will no longer prescribe norethisterone or other medication to delay periods for holidays. Although these medicines can be effective, they are associated with an increased risk of blood clots (venous thromboembolism), particularly during long-distance travel or flights where the risk is already higher. As delaying a period for a holiday is not considered an essential medical treatment, our clinicians have decided that the potential risks outweigh the benefits of prescribing it through the practice. If, after considering the risks, you still wish to use medication to delay your period, this is available as a private service through many community and online pharmacies following an assessment of your suitability. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide prescriptions for this purpose at the surgery.
