We are here to help you!

Welcome to the Patient Participation Group.  We are here to represent you and to help you, as patients, to ensure that the practice meets your needs.  We can only do this if we know what you want and know about any concerns that you may have.

Who we are:

Currently there are 4 members meeting at the practice every 2 months. Any patient registered with Wellbrook is eligible to become a member of the PPG.  If you feel you would like to join the group then contact details can be found below.

Current members are:

Ann Bennett

Ian Bennett

Margaret Adams

Judith Davies

Peter Wood

Sarah Swindell

If you would like to be involved but are short of time, you may be interest in becoming a member of our email forum. We would email you periodically when we are keen to receive additional patient feedback on key developments or issues affecting the practice. For more information please contact Cathy Jones/Heather Moore, Practice Managers.

What we do:

The PPG has been in existence for several years sounding out patients views, hearing concerns and conveying these to the practice.

We have recently started to have regular sessions where we make ourselves available in the surgery foyer to talk to patients and to distribute useful information leaflets and booklets supplied by the practice. If you see us please stop for a chat and let us know your suggestions or concerns.

Under the proposed Government reforms the future NHS will be driven by the GPs and their patients. This will give the PPG a key role in helping to find out the wishes of the patients and in working with the GPs to see that these wishes influence local provision.

To achieve this, the PPG will be involved in working with the practice to devise a survey of patient’s views.

How the PPG keeps you informed:

Copies of the minutes from the most recent meeting can be seen on this website and are also displayed on the PPG notice board in the surgery foyer.

How can I pass on my ideas and opinions?

You are now able to contact our Patient Participation Group (PPG) by email on wellbrookppg@outlook.com. The PPG are available to answer questions and receive comments, suggestions or feedback on any aspect of the surgery. We also have a comments box in Reception that you can post feedback in to. Please be aware that the PPG are not able to deal with complaints and these should be directed to the surgery.
