Practice Nurses
Our Practice nursing team includes a Nurse Practitioner, three Practice Nurses and a Health Care Assistant. They are fully qualified with additional training in family planning, including pill, coil and cap checks.
Appointments may be made direct, to include the following:
Routine cervical smears - New patient checks
- Family planning advice
- Immunisations (inc foreign travel)
- Ear syringing
- Diabetic check
- Dressings
- Blood pressure check
- Removal of stitches
- HRT check
Minor injury - Well person check
- Age 75+ check
- Asthma check
- General advice
- Hypertension Clinic
- Cryotherapy Clinic
District Nurses
District nurses are available to deliver nursing care at home to patients who are housebound or during an acute illness. They are also able to undertake assessment visits that may lead to referral to other services for assistance or technical aids.
Health Visitors
The health visiting team monitor the growth and development of children up to the age of five years. They also provide advice and information with the aim of promoting health and well-being for all age groups. They are a useful source of knowledge of local groups and organisations. The Health Visitors run a Baby Clinic every Wednesday 1.15 - 2.30pm at Hilton Village Hall
Midwife
Our midwife is available for antenatal and postnatal appointments and to offer any help and advice where necessary.

Health Checks
All patients aged 16-75 years are entitled to a health check every 3 years; for patients over 75 years it is every 12 months. Please contact us if you would like to make an appointment.
